The UGC/NTA NET exam in English is one of India’s most competitive tests for students who aspire to become Assistant Professors or pursue a PhD in English. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a Master’s degree (or equivalent) with 55% marks for General/EWS and 50% for OBC (non-creamy layer), SC, ST, PwD, and Third Gender candidates.
Candidates with a 4-year UG degree (8 semesters) with at least 75% marks are also eligible.
